Time sails like a gentle breeze. You can’t see it, you can’t touch it, but you know it’s there. When you think you finally caught it, it’s already gone leaving you empty handed and clueless. Each second leaves you without saying goodbye. Every minute hurries to become sixty. Until hours become days and years become brief memories of the past.
“The great mystery of the moving numbers”
Mistake after another, you try to find ways to master time. Organizing and scheduling every minute of your life was quite a feat. Well, congrats! I guess, you solved the great mystery of the moving numbers, but I’m afraid you arrived too late to the party dear.
“I’ll take the extra minutes for my great entrance”
I used to think that time was my greatest enemy. The unforgiving antagonist of my story. I was trying to chase schedules and deadlines only to realize that I was behind time all along. For every precious second stole from my clock, I had to repay in guilt and shame. My life was a race to arrive to the finish line on time, or so I thought it had to be. But you know what, I like to be fashionably late, so I’ll take the extra minutes for my great entrance.
Sooner or later, I realized that what I learned in my textbooks was no other then the simple yet complex way of life. Time is relative. In reality, your time is only slowing down because you are going at a faster speed without even realizing it. That’s relativity. The more you move in space the more your time dilates. You feel like time is slowing down, but you’re gaining in perspective and experience.

So, live according to your own clock without comparing yourself to others timelines. Once, you realize time is always on your side, you can move ahead and run like the wind.
